Armatrix

Armatrix is a Bengaluru, India-based robotics company that designs and manufactures hyper-redundant, snake-like robotic arms for automated inspection and maintenance in hazardous industrial environments. The company's hardware features over 22 degrees of freedom, allowing the systems to navigate confined spaces as narrow as 50 millimeters in diameter using artificial intelligence-based control and real-time path planning. These robotic systems are primarily utilized across the aviation, oil and gas, nuclear energy, shipbuilding, and defense sectors to inspect complex structures like storage tanks and aircraft engines. The enterprise has raised $2.1 million in pre-seed funding to finalize product development and deploy pilot systems with early industrial customers. This financing was led by pi Ventures, with additional participation from venture firms including Inuka Capital, Boundless Ventures, and Boost VC. Armatrix was founded in 2024 by Vishrant Dave, Prateesh Awasthi, and Ayush Ranjan.
