Code Dx is a Northport, New York-based cybersecurity software company that provides an application security testing platform designed to diagnose, correlate, and prioritize software vulnerabilities. The enterprise platform orchestrates results from various security testing tools to help software development teams identify and remediate critical code flaws before they can be exploited by attackers. Originally developed through research funded by the United States Department of Homeland Security, the technology was incubated within software developer Applied Visions before operating independently. The company secured early investment from cybersecurity startup foundry DataTribe after winning its 2019 challenge, and was subsequently acquired by semiconductor and software design firm Synopsys in an undisclosed transaction. Code Dx originated as a government-funded project in 2010 before officially spinning out as an independent corporate entity in 2018 under the leadership of founder Anita D’Amico.
