Based in Prague, Czech Republic, FaceUp operates as a software-as-a-service bullying detection and reporting platform that provides web and mobile applications for educational institutions to identify and address student harassment. The company's software infrastructure is currently utilized by more than 3,000 teachers across over 1,800 schools globally to facilitate anonymous incident reporting and provide support for social problems. Since its market introduction, the application has processed over 5,800 student notifications regarding ostracization, enabling school administrators to intervene in ongoing behavioral issues. To finance its expansion into international markets including Southeast Asia, North Africa, and the Arabian Peninsula, FaceUp secured $3 million in a recent funding round led by venture capital firm Reflex, building upon initial capital provided by early investor Jiří Hlavenka. The organization was founded in 2017 by entrepreneurs Jan Sláma, David Špunar, and Pavel Ihm.
