Based in Chicago, Illinois, FleetPulse is a SaaS trailer telematics platform that provides real-time visibility into cargo security, safety, and fleet operations for the North American freight logistics industry. The enterprise connects thousands of trailers for Fortune 50 private fleets and commercial carriers, operating with a dedicated workforce of fewer than 25 employees. Originally developed by legacy trailer manufacturer Great Dane, the business spun out as an independent corporate entity in May 2024 backed by an $11 million seed funding round. The venture is currently supported by lead investor Four More Capital, alongside additional strategic equity investments from both NFI Ventures and Ironspring Ventures. FleetPulse was initially founded in 2017 as an internal business unit before its independent launch under the leadership of chief executive officer Carl-Christoph Reckers, a former operations executive at Uber Freight.
