Abdulrahman Bin Omar is the Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Gridware, an energy technology startup based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. Founded in 2020, the company develops AI-powered systems for electrical grid monitoring and secured $5.3 million in early funding through Y Combinator. Under his operational leadership, the venture has grown to support up to 86 employees and produced the Gridscope sensor, which was recognized as a Time magazine Best Invention of 2022. Prior to launching Gridware, he gained engineering experience in the energy sector through roles at Saudi Aramco, Schlumberger, and KAPSARC. He holds a Master of Science in Product Development from the University of California, Berkeley, where he initially incubated his current venture.
