Abhinav Swaminathan

Abhinav Swaminathan is the co-founder and CEO of Astrix Health, a healthcare artificial intelligence startup based in Brooklyn, New York. Founded in 2024, the two-person company recently raised $2.0 million in funding and participated in the Fall 2024 batch of Y Combinator. At Astrix Health, Swaminathan drives corporate strategy and scaling operations to develop software development kits that enable compliant generative AI applications using synthetic data. Prior to launching his current venture, he led healthcare distribution and enterprise artificial intelligence initiatives at Palantir. Earlier in his career, he managed big data and value-based care projects for medical organizations including Duke Health and MedStar Health. Leveraging his academic background in economics and computer science, Swaminathan currently focuses on building secure, regulatory-compliant artificial intelligence infrastructure for the healthcare sector.
