Adam Bowen is the CEO and founder of Tergle, an enterprise artificial intelligence startup based in San Francisco, California. Before establishing his current venture in 2025, he worked as an aerospace engineer at NASA and notably declined an Ivy League admission at age 17 to relocate independently to Tokyo, Japan. Bowen demonstrated early entrepreneurial traction at age 16 by co-founding an educational technology non-profit that eventually scaled its operations to partner with more than 500 schools across the United Kingdom. His second startup, Tergle, was recently selected for the Y Combinator Winter 2025 accelerator batch under the direct guidance of primary partner Tom Blomfield. Drawing on his engineering background, Bowen currently focuses on developing autonomous AI agents designed to automate complex enterprise audit and compliance processes at scale.
