Prior to his current position, he served as an engineer at SpaceX, developing complex infrastructure and delivering key features for the aerospace manufacturer's satellite networks. Oltean also previously held engineering roles at Microsoft, where he contributed to the technical development of operating systems, cloud computing architecture, and machine learning infrastructure. His technical expertise spans the full engineering stack, encompassing both software and hardware development for massive-scale, mission-critical enterprise technology projects. At Starcloud, he currently leads efforts to design and deploy advanced space systems from initial concept to final orbit. Ultimately, Oltean's career centers on building foundational infrastructure for next-generation aerospace networks and high-performance cloud environments.
