Aditya Maru

Aditya Maru is the Co-Founder and Co-CTO of Blacksmith, a continuous integration cloud platform operating out of Boston, Massachusetts. The Y Combinator-backed startup, which participated in the accelerator's W24 batch, accelerates GitHub Actions workflows and currently supports over 12,000 users with a 15-person team. Maru recently helped secure a Series A funding round led by GV, building upon the venture firm's initial seed investment. Prior to launching Blacksmith, he served as a Member of Technical Staff at Cockroach Labs, where he worked as a senior engineer on the core database team to implement distributed disaster recovery solutions. He previously completed a software engineering internship at Google and earned a Bachelor of Honours in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo in 2020. Maru's professional focus centers on building scalable database systems and optimizing developer infrastructure workflows.
