Ahmad Roumie

Ahmad Roumie is the founder and creator of DROP, a consumer hardware startup focused on automated nutrition tracking. Prior to developing health technology products, he worked as a roboticist specializing in computer vision and the deployment of autonomous systems. His technical engineering background includes the design and development of various autonomous platforms, specifically unmanned aerial vehicles, legged robots, and crawler systems. Additionally, Roumie applied his computer vision expertise to the automated retail sector by building visual tracking systems for autonomous retail stores. He recently launched the DROP nutrition tracker through a consumer crowdfunding campaign on the Kickstarter platform to commercialize his automated monitoring device. As a calisthenics athlete and hardware entrepreneur, his current professional focus centers on bridging advanced robotics and consumer health to fully automate dietary tracking.
