Akeed Azmi

Akeed Azmi is the Founder of Cercli, a unified payroll and human resources software platform, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He launched the enterprise software company in early 2024 to address regional fragmentation and subsequently secured a $4 million seed funding round in August 2024, co-led by COTU Ventures. Prior to founding Cercli, Azmi served as the Head of Growth, Expansion, and Operations at Kitopi, a managed cloud kitchen platform operating across the Middle East and North Africa. Before his tenure at Kitopi, he held senior operations and expansion roles at Careem, the regional ride-hailing network that was acquired by Uber. His professional background centers on scaling B2B SaaS solutions, managing hyper-growth operations, and driving market expansion for technology startups throughout the MENA ecosystem.
