Alan Yao

Alan Yao is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of AthenaHQ, an executive delegation and assistant services platform. In this executive role, he oversees the company's engineering, product development, and artificial intelligence strategy, supporting a network that provides dedicated executive assistants to thousands of founders, investors, and executives globally. Yao established the enterprise alongside co-founder Jonathan Swanson to focus on the future of work and global talent distribution. Prior to his transition into software engineering and startup leadership, he began his professional career as a performing jazz trombonist. He subsequently developed his technical expertise through self-directed training, eventually directing engineering initiatives for early-stage technology ventures before launching his own company. Yao currently focuses on building scalable software-as-a-service infrastructure and AI-driven solutions to support executive delegation.
