Albert Sahala is a Cofounder at Latent Space, an artificial intelligence startup based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The early-stage company, backed by Y Combinator as part of its Summer 2022 cohort, currently employs approximately 100 people. At Latent Space, Sahala focuses on developing applied AI products, including Halo AI, GoVisa, and Supa, which are specifically tailored for enterprises and consumers in Southeast Asia. Prior to his current venture, he worked at L’Oreal, where he established the cosmetics corporation's social commerce business in Indonesia and subsequently scaled its operations by 10x. He established Latent Space alongside cofounders Faza Fahleraz and Gery Nugraha to address technological gaps in developing markets. Sahala's professional focus centers on leveraging software-as-a-service and workflow automation to deploy artificial intelligence applications across emerging economies.
