Alen Polakof

Alen Polakof is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Flai, an artificial intelligence startup focused on voice AI infrastructure. Prior to launching his current venture, he spent more than four years working as an infrastructure engineer at Uber, where he focused on developing scalable backend technology solutions for enterprise operations. Following his tenure at the ride-hailing company, Polakof served as a founding engineer at HappyRobot, an early-stage technology venture backed by Y Combinator during its Summer 2023 batch. In his current executive capacity at Flai, he leads the engineering team and directs the technical development of the company's voice-based artificial intelligence products. Polakof's professional background centers on building high-growth technology startups by leveraging his specialized expertise in backend infrastructure, software engineering, and scalable artificial intelligence systems.
