Alex Bouaziz

Alex Bouaziz is the Co-founder and CEO of Deel, a global HR and payroll platform, and is currently based in London, England. Under his leadership, the company reached a $12 billion valuation in 2022 and surpassed $500 million in annual recurring revenue by early 2024 while serving over 25,000 customers across 150 countries. Bouaziz established the enterprise alongside co-founder Shuo Wang, securing backing from prominent investors including Y Combinator and Andreessen Horowitz. Before launching Deel, he served as a founding partner at the micro-VC fund Sarona Ventures and earned civil and environmental engineering degrees from the Technion and MIT. He recently directed the strategic acquisitions of international payroll provider PaySpace and Munich-based startup Zavvy to expand the platform's capabilities. His current focus remains on scaling remote work infrastructure and advancing fintech solutions for global employment compliance.
