Alex Fisher

Alex Fisher is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of AOA Dx, a biotechnology startup based in the United States. Working alongside Chief Executive Officer Oriana Papin-Zoghbi, he oversees operations, finance, and commercialization for the firm's early-stage ovarian cancer detection technologies. In August 2023, Fisher helped secure a $17 million funding round led by Good Growth Capital to advance clinical trials for the company's proprietary liquid biopsy platform. Before establishing AOA Dx, he launched medical device and in vitro diagnostics sales companies in the United Kingdom, driving early product adoption in obstetrics and gynecology across European healthcare markets. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Southampton and a master's degree from University College London. Fisher currently focuses on scaling diagnostic testing operations and improving women's health outcomes through the commercialization of novel oncology biomarkers.
