Alex Naoumidis

Alex Naoumidis is the Co-founder and Co-CEO of Mindset Health and the Founder of Synaptiq Health, based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Alongside his brother Chris Naoumidis, he participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2020 batch to develop evidence-based digital therapeutics and audio-based hypnotherapy programs. Under his leadership, Mindset Health launched its flagship application, Nerva, which has been utilized by hundreds of thousands of patients globally to manage chronic Irritable Bowel Syndrome symptoms without traditional medication. In December 2021, the digital health company successfully secured a $12 million Series A funding round involving King River Capital to expand its digital treatment portfolio into conditions such as menopause and depression. His current focus centers on operating at the intersection of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and personalized medicine to build accessible, non-pharmacological treatments for chronic physical health conditions.
