Ali Partovi is the CEO and Managing Partner of Neo and the Co-founder of Code.org, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Harvard University computer science graduate previously co-founded LinkExchange, serving as its CEO until Microsoft acquired the tech enterprise for $265 million in 1998, and later co-founded the music service iLike. As an active angel investor and startup advisor, Partovi has backed over 100 startups, holding early stakes in prominent technology companies including Airbnb, Dropbox, Facebook, Uber, and Zappos. Through his venture capital firm Neo, he closed a $235 million third fund in October 2023 to support early-stage software and artificial intelligence founders. Additionally, his non-profit organization Code.org has expanded computer science education to reach more than 100 million students globally, recently launching new artificial intelligence initiatives impacting 20 million learners in 2025.
