Amit Gupta

Amit Gupta is the San Francisco Bay Area-based co-founder of Sudowrite, an artificial intelligence writing platform. Previously, he co-founded the Internet of Things platform Jasper Wireless in 2004 alongside Jahangir Mohammed, serving as Chief Strategy Officer until Cisco acquired the enterprise software company for $1.4 billion in 2016. Following the acquisition, Gupta served as Vice President of IoT at Cisco, drawing on a technical background that includes a PhD in computer science from UC Berkeley and over 70 patents in distributed systems and network security. His earlier entrepreneurial ventures include founding the photography e-commerce brand Photojojo and co-founding Andale, while his current company, Sudowrite, recently raised $3 million from individual investors who previously founded platforms including Twitter and Medium. Gupta's career focuses on scaling enterprise software, connected devices, and creative technology businesses structured for sustainable profitability.
