Amit Jhawar

Amit Jhawar is the Chief Executive Officer of Attentive and is based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He joined the SMS marketing platform as President in 2022 before becoming CEO in 2023 to lead operations for the technology unicorn, which previously reached a $7 billion valuation. Prior to this role, Jhawar held pivotal leadership positions in the financial technology sector, including serving as the General Manager and CEO of Venmo. He previously operated as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Braintree, facilitating the payment platform's $800 million acquisition by PayPal in 2013. Before entering the technology industry, he worked in the private equity sector and later earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School. His executive background primarily centers on scaling consumer payments, mobile commerce, and enterprise software businesses.
