Anderson Sumarli

Anderson Sumarli is the Co-founder and CEO of Ajaib, a financial technology company based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Before launching the wealth-tech platform, he worked as a Management Consultant at Boston Consulting Group and a Data Analytics Consultant at IBM, having earned an MBA from Stanford University and a bachelor's degree from Cornell University. Under his leadership, Ajaib reached a $1 billion valuation within 2.5 years of its launch, supported by a $153 million funding round in 2021 led by DST Global and backed by SoftBank Vision Fund. The digital investment application has since accumulated over 10 million users, reported a 50% year-over-year increase in its user base, and expanded its asset classes to include cryptocurrency trading. Sumarli currently focuses on scaling retail investment access and consolidating the broader wealth management sector across Southeast Asian emerging markets.
