Andrew Lee is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Tasklet.ai and Shortwave, based in San Francisco, California. He previously co-founded Firebase alongside James Tamplin, serving as Chief Technology Officer before the backend-as-a-service platform was acquired by Google in October 2014. Following the acquisition, Lee worked as an Engineering Director at Google until 2017, helping scale the Firebase platform to reach approximately 15% of software developers worldwide. In 2020, he established Shortwave, an AI-powered email client backed by $9 million in venture funding from investors including Union Square Ventures and Lightspeed Venture Partners.
