Andrew Miklas

Andrew Miklas is a Visiting Group Partner at Y Combinator and an early-stage investor at s28 Capital based in San Francisco, California. He previously co-founded PagerDuty in 2009, serving as the founding Chief Technology Officer where he designed the original high-availability architecture and scaled the engineering team from zero to over 70 employees. During his operational tenure, the digital operations management platform grew to support more than 10,000 enterprise customers and generate over $100 million in annual recurring revenue before its public listing on the New York Stock Exchange. After transitioning to venture capital, he began backing technical founders, building an investment portfolio that includes high-growth software startups such as Clerk and CaptivateIQ. Miklas currently directs his capital deployment toward early-stage B2B software companies developing enterprise infrastructure and specialized products for software and operations engineers.
