Andrew Song is the Co-founder of Make Sunsets, a climate technology enterprise, and is currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He established the commercial geoengineering startup alongside co-founder Luke Iseman in late 2022 to deploy stratospheric aerosol injection via weather balloons, creating reflective clouds designed to cool the Earth. Prior to his transition into frontier climate intervention, Song participated in the Y Combinator W22 batch as the founder of Lumos Guitar, which was recognized during its 2022 Demo Day as the accelerator's first funded guitar startup. His earlier professional background includes extensive experience in B2B cloud software sales, where he successfully built and sold multiple SaaS businesses before pivoting to consumer hardware. Song currently focuses on commercializing experimental climate technologies, leveraging his diverse background in software sales and hardware development to scale novel geoengineering solutions.
