Andrew Yates

Andrew Yates is a technology entrepreneur and the former Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Promoted.ai, currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. He established the artificial intelligence startup in April 2020 to optimize search and advertising systems for online marketplaces, successfully guiding the company through the Y Combinator Winter 2021 cohort. Under his leadership, the platform increased client revenues by nine to eleven percent for several major enterprise marketplace customers before being officially acquired by Dropbox in early 2024. Prior to this entrepreneurial venture, he worked as a software engineer and engineering manager, leading advertising ranking, auction, and marketplace teams at both Pinterest and Facebook.
