Anubhav Malik

Anubhav Malik is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Weekday, an artificial intelligence-powered candidate discovery engine based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Founded in 2021 and backed by Y Combinator as part of its Winter 2021 batch, the startup develops automated sourcing technology for outbound recruiting campaigns. Prior to launching Weekday, Malik co-founded Memer, a consumer social media platform that achieved a successful exit when it was acquired by ShareChat in 2020. Following this acquisition, he integrated his products into ShareChat's broader technology infrastructure, and he previously served as a Software Engineer at the major Indian edtech platform Unacademy. He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. His professional background centers on engineering scalable artificial intelligence applications and consumer technology across the human resources, education, and social media sectors.
