Apoorva Sharma

Apoorva Sharma is the Co-Founder and CEO of SalaryBook, an HR software startup based in Bengaluru, India. Founded in 2021, the company provides a mobile-first platform for payroll and expense management targeted at Indian small and medium-sized enterprises, operating with approximately seven employees. Under his leadership, SalaryBook participated in the Y Combinator Summer 2021 accelerator batch to scale its business-to-business offerings. Before launching this venture, Sharma worked as a Software Engineer at Infosys in 2014, transitioned to a Data Engineer at McKinsey & Company in 2016, and served as a Senior Product Manager at ZeoAuto in 2018. He holds a computer science degree from Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya and earned an MBA from The University of Manchester. His career centers on leveraging data engineering and product management to build workforce digitization solutions for emerging markets.
