Arman Rafati

Arman Rafati is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Glimmer, a financial technology startup focused on developing payment infrastructure and software solutions. He previously studied Computer Science and Economics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he engineered software for nonprofit organizations after initially building and selling a custom mobile application to his high school. Before launching his current venture, Rafati contributed to enterprise cloud infrastructure as a software engineer at Amazon Web Services, where he helped launch the AWS AppRunner deployment service. He subsequently transitioned into the consumer and business fintech sector, building the first buy now, pay later debit card product at Affirm and developing corporate credit card systems at Mercury. Drawing on his background in both consumer finance and cloud architecture, Rafati currently focuses on engineering enterprise-scale payment services and leading technical product development.
