Arnold Villatoro

Arnold Villatoro is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of SpecCheck, an optical industry software platform based in San Francisco, California. Since establishing the company in September 2022, he has guided its technical development and helped secure $3.83 million in funding across two rounds from investors including Initialized Capital and Y Combinator. Prior to this entrepreneurial venture, Villatoro spent over five years at Lyft, advancing to Staff Software Engineer and leading the organization's core payments engineering team. He previously worked as a Software Development Engineer at Workday from 2015 to 2017, following early engineering internships at Lockheed Martin and Lastline. Villatoro earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. His career currently focuses on building scalable payment systems and modernizing healthcare retail infrastructure through specialized enterprise software.
