Aseem Gupta

Aseem Gupta is the Founder and Chief Technology Officer at SuperKalam, an educational technology startup based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Backed by Y Combinator as part of its Winter 2023 batch, the company raised $2 million in May 2024 to develop an AI-powered mentoring platform for civil services examination preparation. Prior to establishing SuperKalam, Gupta served on the early engineering team at Razorpay, where he led frontend development for various payment products and developer platforms. He also contributed to building creator-focused applications at qoohoo and has engineered consumer software products that have processed over $3 billion in total transaction volume. Equipped with a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and nine years of software development experience, Gupta currently focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence to build scalable and accessible learning solutions for students in India.
