Ashar Aziz

Ashar Aziz is the Founder and CEO of SkyElectric Inc. and the founder of cybersecurity firm FireEye, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. He established FireEye in 2004, pioneering virtual machine-based security technologies to combat advanced malware, and led the company to a $300 million IPO in 2013 before it reached a $10 billion market capitalization. Prior to this, Aziz founded data center automation startup Terraspring, which was acquired by Sun Microsystems in 2002, leading to his subsequent role as Chief Technology Officer of Sun's N1 program. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Science from UC Berkeley, alongside over 80 patents across networking, cryptography, and network security. His current focus centers on addressing global energy challenges through smart solar and energy storage solutions at SkyElectric.
