Ashwin Iyer

Ashwin Iyer is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Instinct, an aerospace startup developing rideshare-compatible lunar landers, currently based in the United Kingdom. He holds a master's degree in industrial systems, manufacturing, and management from the University of Cambridge and previously studied mechanical engineering at Queen Mary University of London. Prior to establishing his current space technology venture, Iyer conducted specialized research on Rolls-Royce jet engines at Imperial College London, where he developed his technical expertise in advanced mechanical systems. Additionally, he executed multiple strategic consulting projects during his academic tenure at the University of Cambridge, analyzing diverse industries including venture capital, industrial metalworking, and commercial electronics. Iyer's current operational focus centers on bridging advanced aerospace engineering with scalable space transportation to enable highly efficient lunar logistics and specialized manufacturing systems for future space missions.
