Assaf Rappaport is the co-founder and CEO of Wiz, a cloud security company operating between Tel Aviv, Israel, and New York City. Before launching Wiz, he co-founded the cybersecurity startup Adallom, serving as its CEO until Microsoft acquired the business for a reported $320 million in 2015. Following this acquisition, Rappaport worked as the General Manager of Microsoft’s Israel R&D Center, overseeing regional engineering operations. Under his leadership, Wiz reached $100 million in annual recurring revenue within 18 months and secured a $1 billion Series E round at a $12 billion valuation in May 2024. In March 2025, Alphabet subsidiary Google announced its intent to acquire the enterprise software firm for $32 billion. A veteran of the elite Israeli Intelligence Corps' Unit 8200, Rappaport maintains a primary focus on scaling B2B cybersecurity platforms for multi-cloud environments.
