Aumesh Misra

Aumesh Misra is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Tivara, an early-stage healthcare technology startup based in Brooklyn, New York. Prior to launching this venture, he spent four combined years developing enterprise and financial software as a software engineer at Microsoft and Compound. Joining the Y Combinator-backed wealth management platform Compound as its eighth engineering hire, Misra helped build and scale the firm's technical infrastructure to support over $2 billion in total assets under management. Earlier in his background, he conducted academic research at Stanford University, where he focused on programming and developing specialized software for novel medical imaging devices. He now directs engineering initiatives for a two-person startup participating in the Y Combinator Summer 2024 batch. His current focus centers on driving technical strategy, improving operational processes, and executing product development within the healthcare sector.
