Ayush Sharma

Ayush Sharma is the Founder of Warp, a developer tools startup, and is currently based in San Francisco, California. Prior to launching his current venture, he studied computer science and physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and gained early experience as a software engineer. At Warp, Sharma leads product development for a modern Rust-based terminal that currently supports over 100,000 active users. The startup participated in the Y Combinator W20 batch and has secured more than $43 million in total funding, including a $20 million Series A led by Sequoia Capital in 2022 and a $23 million extension in June 2023. He recently oversaw the rollout of new artificial intelligence features for the platform in March 2024. Sharma remains focused on building advanced terminal software and productivity tools for the software engineering sector.
