Benedikt Sauter

Benedikt Sauter is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Xentral ERP Software GmbH, based in Augsburg, Germany. He originally developed the core technology alongside his wife, Claudia, to manage inventory for their previous hardware engineering business, embedded projects GmbH, before pivoting to a commercial software-as-a-service model. Under his leadership, the cloud-based enterprise resource planning platform has scaled to serve more than 5,000 small and medium-sized businesses and currently employs over 200 people. Sauter has secured over $95 million in venture capital funding for the company, attracting early and growth-stage investments from prominent firms including Sequoia Capital, Tiger Global, and Battery Ventures. Following a recent €60 million Series C financing round, his current focus centers on expanding the platform's artificial intelligence capabilities and driving enterprise automation across new European markets like France and Austria.
