Bereket Engida

Bereket Engida is an independent software engineer and open-source developer focused on building developer tools and web infrastructure. Early in his professional career, he worked as a software engineer across multiple product development teams, an experience that ultimately drove his interest in creating more usable developer infrastructure and clean application programming interfaces. Transitioning from general product development to a dedicated focus on open-source software, he now specializes entirely within the TypeScript ecosystem. Engida is the creator and primary maintainer of several widely utilized open-source libraries, specifically including Better Auth, Loglib, Better Fetch, and Better Call. These specific software tools are engineered to improve the overall developer experience by providing shippable, highly usable infrastructure for the global web development community. Engida currently focuses on expanding his open-source portfolio while advancing modern developer tooling and core web infrastructure.
