Bernard Xie

Bernard Xie is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Kestral, an artificial intelligence platform for work management based in San Francisco, California. He brings nine years of professional experience as a full-stack software engineer, specializing in early-stage product development and technical architecture. Prior to his current venture, Xie served as a founding engineer at two distinct startups, including the healthtech company AllStripes, which was subsequently acquired by the enterprise data firm PicnicHealth. He also held an additional founding engineer position at a developer tool startup and previously worked as a software engineer on the marketplace team at Asana. Xie earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Southern California. His current focus centers on building AI-native productivity tools and scaling engineering operations for early-stage technology ventures.
