Brian Halligan

Brian Halligan is the Executive Chairman of HubSpot and Managing Partner of Propeller Ventures, based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. After co-founding HubSpot in 2006, he served as CEO until 2021, leading the customer relationship management platform to a 2014 initial public offering and scaling operations to over 8,000 employees and $1.73 billion in annual revenue. Prior to his tenure at HubSpot, he held executive sales positions at PTC and Groove Networks, a software company that was later acquired by Microsoft. He currently serves as a Senior Advisor at Sequoia Capital to coach startup founders and teaches as a Senior Lecturer at the MIT Sloan School of Management, where he earned his MBA. His current focus centers on enterprise software governance, entrepreneurship education, and directing a $100 million venture capital fund toward climate technology and ocean innovation.
