Carlo Kobe

Carlo Kobe is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Fizz, a consumer social media platform based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Originally from Germany, he studied statistics at Harvard University before leaving his undergraduate program to pursue entrepreneurship full-time alongside co-founder Ashton Cofer. Under his leadership, the private student networking application has expanded its operational footprint to more than 130 college campuses across the United States. Kobe has guided the startup through significant capital acquisition, securing over $40 million in total venture funding from prominent institutional investors including Lightspeed Venture Partners and Owl Ventures. This financial backing includes a $25 million Series B funding round completed in August 2023 to facilitate the platform's expansion into high school networks. His current focus remains on scaling mobile applications and developing localized digital communities for student demographics.
