Carlos Aravena

Carlos Aravena is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Poliglota, an education technology platform based in Santiago, Chile. Under his leadership, the language learning startup successfully transitioned from an in-person exchange network into a digital academy and participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2021 accelerator batch. In August 2021, Aravena guided the enterprise through a $2.5 million investment round to finance its operational expansion across Latin American markets, with a specific strategic focus on Mexico. His early work in social entrepreneurship garnered international media attention, including recognition as a disruptive innovator by the Huffington Post and a nomination for the Forbes 30 Under 30 education category by the One Young World organization.
