Carlos Georgescu

Carlos Georgescu is a software engineer and the founder of AfterQuery, an early-stage technology company developing specialized data querying platforms and enterprise software solutions. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia, where he developed his foundational technical expertise in complex software architecture. Prior to his current entrepreneurial venture, Georgescu completed four software engineering internships at prominent technology and financial institutions, including two distinct tenures at Citadel Securities, alongside specialized engineering roles at Meta and Google. Before establishing AfterQuery, he founded an independent educational technology startup that he operated and eventually sold through a strategic corporate acquisition exit. Currently, his professional focus centers on leveraging his extensive corporate software engineering background to build and commercialize advanced data and query technologies for the broader global technology ecosystem.
