Carlos Guayara

Carlos Guayara is the Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Trii, a Latin American wealthtech platform based in Bogotá, Colombia. He holds dual degrees in Economics and Business Administration with a specialized emphasis on capital markets from Universidad de los Andes, and he previously began his career working as a financial professional at Citibank. Over the past five years, Guayara has leveraged his financial expertise to co-found three distinct startups focused on regional financial inclusion, successfully leading one of these early ventures to an acquisition exit. At Trii, which secured backing from the Y Combinator Winter 2021 batch, he directed the operational strategy for the retail trading platform's international expansion into Peru in late 2021 and Chile in 2022. His current focus remains on scaling fintech operations and democratizing retail investor access to local and international capital markets.
