Caroline "Shoe" Shoemaker is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of HYBRD, a fitness technology startup developing a performance tracking hub for multi-sport athletes. Before launching her current venture, she built and led the analytics team at WHOOP, focusing on sports data and wearable technology. She previously managed 50 percent of the mobile application portfolio at Appex, a mobile app roll-up company. Under her leadership, HYBRD recently completed a Y Combinator fall batch and is currently operating an invite-only platform with paying customers ahead of its planned public launch. A 2017 graduate of the University of Virginia School of Engineering and Applied Science, she is also a competitive amateur athlete training for a 2025 Ironman triathlon. Her current focus centers on leveraging her data analytics expertise to address tracking gaps for modern multi-sport athletes.
