Carolyn Mooney is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Nextmv, a decision automation and operations research platform based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Before establishing the developer tools company in 2019 alongside co-founder Ryan O'Neil, she built her technical foundation working as an Operations Research Analyst at the convenience retail chain Wawa. Throughout her career in data science and analytics, she has specialized in systems engineering, logistics, and routing optimization for complex supply chains. As chief executive, she has successfully scaled Nextmv's enterprise software offerings and secured multiple rounds of venture capital financing, highlighted by an $8 million Series A funding round led by FirstMark Capital in November 2021.
