Charles Porch is the Vice President of Global Creative Partnerships at OpenAI, based in Los Angeles, California. Prior to this inaugural position, he spent over a decade at Meta, serving as the Vice President of Global Partnerships at Instagram following its acquisition. During his 12-year tenure at the social media platform, he built the global partnerships team from the ground up and secured early adoption from high-profile figures including Beyoncé. At OpenAI, he reports directly to CEO of Applications Fidji Simo and leads the organization's strategic relationships across the music, film, fashion, and sports industries. He is currently conducting a listening tour to understand the perspectives of artists regarding new generative models. His broader focus centers on integrating artificial intelligence into the creator economy while bridging the gap between Silicon Valley technology and global entertainment.
