Chase Adam

Chase Adam is the Co-founder of Toucan Protocol and is currently based in San Francisco, California. He established the web3 climate technology enterprise in 2021 to develop blockchain infrastructure for environmental assets, successfully bridging more than 20 million tonnes of carbon credits on-chain. Prior to his work in the cryptocurrency sector, Adam served as the Chief Executive Officer of Watsi, a global healthcare crowdfunding platform he founded in 2012 following his tenure as a Peace Corps volunteer in Costa Rica. Under his executive leadership, Watsi became the first non-profit organization ever accepted into the Y Combinator accelerator program, ultimately raising millions of dollars in capital to fund medical treatments for patients worldwide. His professional focus now centers entirely on regenerative finance, leveraging decentralized web3 infrastructure to scale carbon markets and address complex global environmental challenges.
