Chengjun Yuan

Chengjun Yuan is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Suger, a venture-backed B2B software platform. He holds a master's degree in computer science from the University of Virginia, earned in 2016, alongside prior degrees in mechanical engineering and engineering mechanics from the University of Science and Technology of China and Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Before establishing his current startup in May 2022, Yuan spent six years building distributed systems and scalable infrastructure as a Software Engineer at Facebook, Google, and Confluent. At Suger, which participated in the Y Combinator W23 cohort, he leads the technical development of a platform designed to streamline software procurement and co-selling across major cloud providers. His career centers on leveraging deep expertise in data infrastructure to build enterprise technology solutions for the rapidly expanding cloud marketplace sector.
