Chris Lo

Chris Lo is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Tracecat, an open-source automation platform designed for security, IT, and production engineering teams, based in London, United Kingdom. He launched the company's core software platform in early 2024 and subsequently participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2024 accelerator batch alongside his elementary school best friend, who currently serves as the startup's Chief Technology Officer. Prior to establishing Tracecat, Lo worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at PwC, gaining experience in enterprise software development. During his tenure at the global professional services firm, he focused on developing data-driven internal tools specifically designed to support the organization's enterprise security and fraud detection departments. His current professional focus centers on leveraging his machine learning expertise to build efficient, maintainable open-source automation workflows for mission-critical cybersecurity and IT operations.
