Cody Ebberson

Cody Ebberson is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Medplum, an open-source healthcare data platform based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Under his technical leadership, the Y Combinator-backed startup secured a $3.2 million seed round and scaled its API-first electronic health record system to support over 20 million patients across hundreds of medical practices. Prior to Medplum, he served as Director of Engineering at One Medical and worked as the Healthcare Engineering Lead at Box. His tenure at Box followed the 2014 acquisition of MedXT, a medical imaging startup he co-founded and guided through the Y Combinator winter 2013 batch. Ebberson holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. His career focuses on building developer-first infrastructure and advancing data interoperability within the digital health sector.
